The MP for North Tongu and former deputey minister in charge of tertiary education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has handed over a 6-unit clasroom block for a community in his constituency. Below is a statement and photos of the project he posted on facebook
“Earlier today I was at the holy village of Morklikpo in my beloved constituency to hand over a new 6-unit primary school to the river overbank community.
For this current phase, the Morklikpo school is one of some thirty primary schools under construction in very hard to reach communities as we are determined to totally eliminate the phenomenon of schools-under-trees and end the unacceptable spectacle of children walking long distances to access education.
We will keep doing our best to remove all barriers to our children’s fundamental right to quality education.
I am grateful for the amazing reception.”
